Draw result exercise of the day?

It's not a draw, though the win is far from simple. Check the tablebase.

You're right though that in general engines don't always understand fortresses.
Sorry, in a game i can't check the tablebase. GM's maybe only draw this against a fool like me. Describe a plan that human can follow please.

I don't think there really is one. I could say try to get the king away from the pawn, and then win the pawn, but that's not really easy to do. (Not to mention that QvR is certainly not easy.)

I wasn't saying a human could win it--indeed I doubt even Magnus Carlsen could beat Stockfish--but simply that it is technically a win for White.

Perhaps you do have a point that it is a bad puzzle, though, since the ending position is very difficult to win.

this a theoretical draw, You can't win it. If checked, i move the king to a square that protects the pawn. If not i move the rook to e5 or g5. The king can't be distracted from protecting f6. This a draw, and a dead draw. Tell me where i do a mistake.

Thank you.

It's a theoretical win for White. I'm not saying I would win it against you (or even that Stockfish would) without access to the endgame tablebase, but it is still a theoretical win. Please check the tablebase: lichess.org/analysis/7Q/6r1/4kp2/8/7K/8/8/8_b_-_-_0_75?color=white#explorer

Also, if you want to see it more clearly, just make whatever move for Black you think holds, and then make for White the top move in the tablebase. You'll find that Black cannot hold the draw against perfect play.
